Today we will talk about a very important topic for those who use a hairsystem: how to clean it. Only by thoroughly cleaning the base and hair we will have a perfect and vision-proof system.
If you do not do a regular and well maintenance, the hair will lose its naturalness and the base will be more visible every time.
But don’t worry, the maintenance and cleaning of the hairsystem is much easier than you might think.
The advice is to do it once a week, in order to avoid that the adhesive becomes difficult to clean … in fact the more time you hold the hair replacement system to the head, the more the adhesive will tend to melt in the base and sometimes at hair roots … and therefore maintenance will be very difficult.
How to proceed with the hair prosthesis cleaning:
- With the solvent, proceed to spray the entire perimeter of the system with your head… let it to act for a minute and the solvent will work “and you will see how the whole edge will tend” to be easier to remove.
- With your fingertips attach the edge of the system and detach it gently … we recommend doing it from behind NEVER FROM THE FRONT … and slowly detach the system from the skin ..
- ATTENTION DO NOT REMOVE IT FORCE, BUT PROCEED WITH EXTREME DELICACY AND WITHOUT TEARS… in a very short time the system will detach from the head, thanks to the action of the solvent and your fingertips.
- Now you will have to clean your skin, base and hair.
HOW TO CLEAN THE SKIN:
You can use a simple neutral soap and with water pass over the skin several times… with your fingertips you remove the residue of glue … if you want you can also use a towel soaked in alcohol …
You can also use baby wipes … then with a shampoo delicate massage all the skin, wash well and dry.
HOW TO CLEAN THE BASE OF A HAIR PROSTHESIS:
Buy in time a mirror of 30 x 30 cm or even bigger (in hardware store or better still from the glassmaker) and use it only for this operation (then put it under the bed or in a piece of furniture) … be careful that the edges do not they are sharp, maybe you put a frame around, in order to avoid tears or cuts of the base.
With the solvent, spray the entire base of the capillary prosthesis and leave it to act for at least one minute.
Now take the system and pass it gently on the mirror. You will see that all the glue sticks to the same mirror and the base is cleaned of all its residues.
It is a very easy and fast operation.
If the base continues to have glue residues, spray the solvent again and repeat the operation.
Now you have to clean the mirror: it’s very easy
With a kitchen sponge, pass the dish soap and water on it and remove all residues (you can also use a baby wipe, but you will lose more time) … dry the mirror and put it back in its previous position.
HOW TO CLEAN THE HAIR OF A HAIR PROSTHESIS:
Use a mild shampoo and put it on them after wetting them … let it act and rinse … now put a good restructuring cream, let it act and proceed to rinse.
Now dry the capillary prosthesis, always better from the bottom and with a not very warm lukewarm jet, better if with ion hair dryer.
Once the system and the hair are dry … proceed to use the knot sealer on the base and let it act, with this product you will have a more resistant base, greater adhesion resistance and more skin protection …
Now you can proceed to put the system in your head and live your life with a beautiful head of hair.
